Mary Butts

Mary Butts comes to the Therapeutic Riding Institute most recently as a graduate of the prestigious Leadership Dayton Program (Class of 2020). In the past 20 years, she has held positions in Community Relations and Outreach, Event Planning, Professional Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, and HR. Mary has experience in a variety of industries including the sports world, higher education, non-profit, the airline industry, and K-12 education. She is currently a RemotEDx Connectivity Champion for the Management Council, working to help make a difference in the lives of Ohio’s learners, teachers, and leaders.

Mary was drawn to TRI because it reminded her of a similar horse therapy center where one of her lifelong friends took her daughter. Her emotional post about her brave little girl inspired her to get involved with an organization that is making an impact on children and adults with disabilities. She is proud to be a part of the mission: “To enhance the quality of life for children and adults that have a variety of challenges by providing accredited therapeutic equine experiences in a safe, fun, and compassionate environment.”
