Summer Camps

TRI is pleased to be offering four weeks of Summer Camp in 2024!

Voted Dayton's Nonprofit of the Year Award in 2022 & 2023 for 'Best Therapeutic Camp', TRI's dynamic camp experience offers participants the opportunity to feel what it is like to own their own horse. Each camper is assigned to a horse for the week and spends their days learning how to care for, ride and understand more about them. They also participate in fun and interactive activities and crafts with their peers that provide memories for years to come!

Camps are held Monday through Thursday from 9am-1pm. We ask that participants bring a packed lunch with them. See dates and descriptions below!

Cost of camp for the week is $375.

Beginner Week

June 10-13

This week is designed for our younger aged participants who are working toward independence.

Intermediate Week

June 24-27

This week is designed for our riders that have been newly working on independent riding at the walk.

Advanced Week

July 8-11

This week is designated for TRI students who are working on independent riding skills at the walk and trot.

Sibling Week

July 22-25

Siblings do not have to be active TRI participants, but will need to complete the full registration packet.

How to Sign Up:

If you are interested in joining us for a week of Summer Camp please complete the form below to let our Program Staff know! We will need all registration for camps sent in by May 31st. Please note that camp registration is first come, first served. If you happen to not get registered for your week in time, we will add you to our waitlist and let you know if a spot becomes available.

**All participants new to TRI signing up for Camp will need to complete the full TRI registration and an evaluation prior to their week of Camp starting.
